Originally from the UK, I worked for over a decade as a musician and music director for musical theatre. I conducted shows in London’s West End, toured extensively, and worked internationally with shows including Les Misérables, Hairspray, and Kinky Boots (as well as conducting the Grammy-nominated UK Cast Album). During that time I also composed music for theatre and several documentaries, and was made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in 2013 for outstanding contribution to the music industry.
In 2017 I moved to Los Angeles to focus on songwriting and producing, and have since worked with many independent artists and songwriters both in the studio and onstage. My extensive experience as a live player alongside with my passion for the recording process helps me create work that combines the best of real instrumentation and studio wizardry, all in service of the song and the artist’s vision.
My passion is working in depth with artists and songwriters from beginning to end on a project. Whether that’s co-writing from scratch or helping shape existing ideas, I love taking them all the way through to fully arranged, recorded, and mixed final creations, as well as onto the stage for a live audience.
