Pete White

Pete is the co-writer (with Fermin Suero Jr.) of the musical BLUDLINE: A Hip-Hop Odyssey, which won a 2025 Rhinebeck Writers Retreat, and an honorable mention at the 2025 Relentless Awards.

 

His other musical theater work includes The Frequent Floaters, co-written with Clayton Farris (Weapons) and Laura Schein (Emojiland), the viral Bachelor Tik Tok Musical, and Aurora (semi-finalist for the 2022 O’Neill National Musical Theater Conference). He has also written music for plays, documentaries and short films. 

Originally from the UK, Pete has had an extensive career as a music director, with credits including the Olivier Award winning and Grammy nominated West End production of Kinky Boots, the UK and US 25th Anniversary tours of Les Misérables, UK tours of Hairspray and Legally Blonde, and numerous readings of new musicals in London, LA and NYC.

 

He also spent several years living in LA working as a songwriter and music producer, and has co-written and produced songs for musical theater crossover artists such as Elizabeth Teeter (Beetlejuice), Kay Sibal (Six), Aimie Atkinson (Six Original West End Cast), girl group SVN, and Arun Blair-Mangat (& Juliet).

He currently lives in Brooklyn, NYC.
